CHAIRMAN KEVIN J. MARTIN APPLAUDS WHITE HOUSE ANNOUNCEMENT OF 
INTENTION TO NOMINATE DEBORAH TAYLOR TATE TO BE COMMISSIONER 
OF THE FEDERAL COMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION
Today, Federal Communications Commission Chairman Kevin J. Martin applauded President 
Bush’s announcement of intention to nominate Deborah Taylor Tate to be Commissioner of the 
Federal Communications Commission.
Of the announcement, Chairman Martin said, “If confirmed, I look forward to continuing to 
work closely with Commissioner Tate.  She has served admirably at the Commission for the past 
year and a half, and I appreciate her continued dedication to public service.  Debi brings 
important insight to the Commission, including her distinguished career as a leader in state 
government.  Her thoughtfulness, dedication, and leadership have made Debi an invaluable 
member of the Commission.”
