STATEMENT OF FCC COMMISSIONER DEBORAH TAYLOR TATE ON 
ANNOUNCEMENT OF PLEDGES FROM THE MEMBERS OF THE CHILDREN’S FOOD 
AND BEVERAGE ADVERTISING INITIATIVE
Congratulations to the eleven members of the Children’s Food and Beverage 
Advertising Initiative for the pledges they have made today.  This is an admirable step 
in the right direction.  Hopefully, others, including members of the Task Force on Media 
and Childhood Obesity, will follow their example and take even further measures to
positively impact childhood obesity.
