STATEMENT OF COMMISSIONER MICHAEL J. COPPS CONGRATULATING 
COMMISSIONER JONATHAN S. ADELSTEIN ON HIS RENOMINATION
“I congratulate my good friend and colleague, Jonathan Adelstein, on the news that the 
President intends to renominate him to the Commission.  Jonathan and I have traveled the 
country together to learn directly from the American people about how the FCC’s 
communications policies are serving them. I know him to be a smart, dedicated and courageous 
advocate for bringing communications technologies to all Americans.  I look forward to 
continuing to work with Jonathan on the many important issues before the Commission in the
