COMMISSIONER ROBERT M. McDOWELL CONGRATULATES JONATHAN 
ADELSTEIN ON HIS RENOMINATION TO BE COMMISSIONER OF THE FEDERAL 
COMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION
The following statement can be attributed to Commissioner Robert M. McDowell:
“I am delighted that President Bush has announced his intention to renominate my friend and 
colleague, Jonathan Adelstein, to another term on the Federal Communications Commission.  I 
first came to know Jonathan several years ago while he was working in the Senate.  He has a 
long and distinguished history of public service.  America is well-served by his dedication and 
hard work.  I look forward to continuing to work with him and I wish him the best in the 
confirmation process.
