It will begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at approximately 12:00 p.m. The purpose of the Workshop is to provide an opportunity for interested parties to discuss the challenges associated with ensuring that consumers in rural areas and on tribal lands receive and can act on information regarding the upcoming Digital Television transition. The Workshop discussion will also explore ways to develop coordinated consumer education activities. There will also be a demonstration of digital-to-analog converter boxes. An agenda for the Workshop is attached. A live webcast of the hearing will be available at the FCC’s website at http://www.fcc.gov/realaudio/ on a first-come, first-served basis.
