It will begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at approximately 12:00 p.m. The purpose of the Workshop is to provide an opportunity for interested parties to discuss the challenges of ensuring that low-income consumers receive and can act on information about the digital television transition. The Workshop discussion will also explore ways to develop coordinated consumer education activities. There will also be a demonstration of digital-to- analog converter boxes. An agenda for the Workshop is attached. A live webcast of the hearing will be available at the FCC’s website at http://www.fcc.gov/realaudio/#apr1 on a first-come, first-served basis.
