STATEMENT OF FCC COMMISSIONER ROBERT M. McDOWELL 
REGARDING INDUSTRY-WIDE AGREEMENT 
TO FIGHT AGAINST CHILD PORNOGRAPHY
The following statement can be attributed to Commissioner Robert M. McDowell:
“I am delighted to hear that the National Cable & Telecommunications Association (NCTA), the 
National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), and the National Association of 
Attorneys General (NAAG) have agreed to help reduce the proliferation of child pornography 
online.  Today's agreement will provide cable broadband service providers with the tools 
necessary to protect our children from online predators.”
