LEAGUES INTERNATIONAL
I would like to congratulate the Association of Junior Leagues International (AJLI) for receiving the Summit Award 
from the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) for their work regarding childhood obesity. This 
prestigious honor for outstanding community-based programs, recognizes the AJLI’s innovative and volunteer-
driven Kids in the Kitchen program. Child obesity is a national health epidemic, and Kids in the Kitchen is an 
exemplary model of how to combat child obesity one kitchen at a time.
