As part of the NFL’s youth health and fitness campaign, the Keep Gym in School program aims to motivate students to get active and to keep physical education in America’s schools. With over ten million children obese, or at risk of obesity, we must all work together to develop real-world solutions that we know will have a positive impact on our children. I am so pleased that this creative initiative will provide grants to public schools across the country to fund refurbishments for PE programs and hosting NFL minicamps where each child’s fitness level will be assessed. I applaud these organizations for developing a unique partnership to combat this growing health epidemic.
