Concerning the FCC Media Bureau’s Approval of Applications in
MB Docket No. 08-120 and WC Docket No. 08-157
(Applications for Consent to the Assignment and/or Transfer of Control of Licenses from Time 
Warner Inc. and its subsidiaries to Time Warner Cable Inc. and its subsidiaries)
I am pleased that the Media Bureau was able to act on these applications expeditiously 
under the leadership of Acting Chairman Michael Copps.  This is yet another transaction that 
indicates that the media marketplace continues to deconsolidate, a trend that has been evident in 
recent years.
