The redesigned site will provide consumers with access to local DTV transition support and reception information, along with answers to questions about DTV equipment they may need to buy and install. The collection of resources and statistics on the site will also be valuable for broadcasters, local government officials, businesses – in short, anyone affected by the transition. Commissioner Adelstein will also have copies of a new DTV transition consumer guide, which has been produced by Consumers Union in cooperation with the FCC.
