Copps announced a tentative agenda for the next open Commission meeting scheduled for Thursday, July 2, 2009: 1. Presentations · An update on the June 12th DTV transition and ongoing DTV efforts. · A status report on the Commission’s process for developing a National Broadband Plan. 2. AM Radio Stations – Use of FM Translators · A Report and Order adopting rule changes to expand the permissible service of authorized FM translator stations to allow their use as a fill-in service for AM radio stations. 3. Fixed Wireless Services in the 6 GHz and 23 GHz Bands · A Notice of Proposed Rulemaking and Order on modifying and streamlining the rules governing fixed wireless services in the 6 GHz and 23 GHz bands. 4.
