This is an Official Citation issued pursuant to Section 503(b)(5) of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended (“Act”),1 to Irma Frausto for violation of Section 15.5(b) of the Commission’s rules (“Rules”).2 2. Investigation by the Enforcement Bureau’s Los Angeles Office revealed that on August 13, 2009, a Part 15 device3 at Ms. Frausto’s residence in Compton, California, was causing interference to Verizon Wireless’ cellular phone f(XXX) XXXX-XXXX6 MHz. 3. Section 15.5(b) of the Rules states “[o]peration of an intentional, unintentional, or incidental radiator is subject to the conditions that no harmful interference is caused . . . .”4 4. On August 11, 2009, the Los Angeles Office received a complaint of interference to Verizon Wireless’ cellular phone frequency 840.356 MHz. On August 13, 2009, agents from the Los Angeles Office investigated the allegation and located the interfering signal emanating from Ms. Frausto’s residence. Further investigation revealed that the source of the interfering signal was a Philips amplified television antenna, model Mant300, installed on top of a television set in the residence. 5.
