FCC ANNOUNCES TENTATIVE AGENDA FOR SEPTEMBER 29th OPEN MEETING
Washington, D.C. – Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chairman Julius Genachowski 
announced that the following item will be on the tentative agenda for the next open meeting 
scheduled for Tuesday, September 29, 2009:
· Omnibus Broadband Initiative (OBI) Presentation: Commission staff will report on 
the status of the National Broadband Plan, which the FCC must deliver to Congress on 
Feb. 17, 2010. The presentation will include a review of the testimony from participants 
at the August and September staff workshops, comments received from the public, and 
staff research and analysis.
Topics selected for FCC open meeting agendas will be posted on the Commission’s website 
approximately three weeks prior to the Commission’s next monthly meeting. The Commission 
will also issue a public notice of the “Commission Meeting Agenda” one week before the 
meeting and announce at that time the items that are scheduled for the agenda.
