Confirmed technology exhibits include home energy management systems, smart appliances, smart electric meters, smart grid communications equipment, eco-friendly mobile handsets, green IT products, datacenter energy efficiency solutions, and much more. Promoting clean technology solutions is a key recommendation of the Federal Communications Commission’s National Broadband Plan, delivered to Congress in March. The plan highlights the transformative role broadband can play in meeting our national energy and environmental goals, including energy independence, greenhouse gas emissions reductions, and clean energy generation.
