FCC COMMISSIONER CLYBURN LAUNCHES “CLYBURN CHAT”
Washington, DC – Federal Communications Commissioner Mignon L. Clyburn today
announced that she has launched “Clyburn Chat,” a blog on the Commission’s Reboot.FCC.gov 
Web site.  The blog, which can be accessed at http://reboot.fcc.gov/commissioners/clyburn/blog, 
focuses primarily on the trips the Commissioner takes to meet with individuals, organizations, 
and industry beyond the Beltway, as well as on telecommunications events she attends in the 
D.C. metropolitan area.
“This is new territory for me, but I see this as a great opportunity to have yet another 
avenue to communicate directly with the American public.  One of the most interesting parts of 
my job is getting outside the Beltway – and outside the FCC itself – to interact with the 
consumers and businesses most impacted by our work at the Commission.  I hope to share some 
of these interactions and offer a window into some of the fascinating people I meet and places I 
visit.”
Commissioner Clyburn will update her blog periodically based on her travel and event 
schedule.  The public will have the opportunity to post comments on the blog, subject to the 
Commission’s Blog Moderation Policy.
