The CIC was established in all Pacific end offices and tandems for termination into AT&T West’s business offices and repair centers. The CIC was also built in many CLEC/ILEC switches that homed off of AT&T Tandems. As AT&T West completes the migration of this traffic to its LD affiliate, CIC 5233 is being decommissioned for this service and should be removed from the CLEC/ILEC switches.
