The two-day meeting was prompted by recommendations in the Federal Communications Commission’s National Broadband Plan to unleash the power of broadband to improve health care while cutting costs. Federal Communications Commission Chairman Julius Genachowski, Food and Drug Administration Commissioner Margaret Hamburg, and White House Chief Technology Officer Aneesh Chopra, will tour a vendor technology showcase that will be open 8 a.m. through 4 p.m. Monday.
