STATEMENT OF COMMISSIONER MEREDITH ATTWELL BAKER
ON THE DEATH OF SENATOR TED STEVENS
My thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Senator Ted Stevens and the families of the 
others who died on Monday in the tragic plane crash in Alaska. Senator Stevens was a life-long 
champion of the power of communications and a critical force in ensuring that all Americans, 
particularly those in Alaska, benefit from the technological opportunities of our digital age.
