FCC COMMISSIONER CLYBURN ANNOUNCES STAFF CHANGES
Washington, DC – Federal Communications Commissioner Mignon L. Clyburn 
announced today the appointment of Dave Grimaldi as Chief of Staff and Media Legal Advisor 
in her office.  
Since June 2009, Dave has served as Senior Counsel to House Majority Whip James E. 
Clyburn (D-SC) where he specializes in technology and telecommunications, foreign affairs, and 
finance regulation.  Prior to joining Congressman Clyburn’s staff, Dave counseled corporate, 
financial and non-profit clients as Senior Counsel with The Raben Group, and for two years 
served as Legislative Counsel to Representative Ed Towns (NY-10) where he assisted the 
Congressman with his duties as a member of the House Energy & Commerce Committee.
Dave holds a J.D. from the Columbus School of Law at The Catholic University of 
America.  He also holds a B.A. from Loyola Marymount University. 
Dave succeeds Acting Chief of Staff Angela (“Angie”) Kronenberg, who will continue as 
Wireline Legal Advisor to Commissioner Clyburn.  Commissioner Clyburn stated: “Our entire 
office welcomes Dave.  We look forward to the diverse experience, commitment, creativity, and 
leadership he will bring to our team.  I thank Angie for her contributions as Acting Chief of Staff 
during this transitional period.”
