Re: SHORT TERM NETWORK CHANGE CERTIFICATION RECEIVED
CenturyLink Local Operating Companies (CenturyLink), an incumbent local exchange carrier (LEC), has 
filed certification that short term public notice of network change(s) has been provided through its 
publicly accessible Internet site, as required by section 51.329(a) of the rules of the Federal 
Communications Commission (FCC), together with certification of service on identified interconnecting 
carriers, as required by section 51.333(a).  Upon initial review the filing appears to be complete.  See 47

The incumbent LEC’s certification(s) refer(s) to the change(s) identified below:
· CenturyLink will be upgrading remote equipment, central offices, and termination 
equipment which can impact the optical and electrical interface to the customer, in 
addition to adding capacity to current facilities.  Additionally, the company will be 
performing copper replacements in Missouri and Texas.
· Location of Change(s): Alabama, Missouri and Texas. 
· Planned Implementation Date(s): October 4, 2010 – December 15, 2010.

An objection to an incumbent LEC's short term notice may be filed by an information service provider or 
telecommunications service provider that directly interconnects with the incumbent LEC’s network.  Such 
objections must be filed with the Commission, and served on the incumbent LEC, no later than the ninth 
business day following the release of this public notice.  See 47 C.F.R. § 51.333(c).  The effective 
implementation date of all changes is subject to the FCC’s public notice period under section 51.333(b).
