STATEMENT OF COMMISSIONER MIGNON L. CLYBURN ON CTIA’S ANNOUNCEMENT OF STANDARDIZED GUIDES TO HELP CONSUMERS SELECT WIRELESS SERVICES AND DEVICES

       “I commend CTIA and the wireless carriers that worked to develop these standardized guides to help consumers choose the wireless services and devices that best suit their needs.  Education is a fundamental component of consumer protection.  We need more leadership such as this from industry to both identify the difficulties consumers face and recommend solutions to those problems.”
