Commissioner Clyburn chairs the Federal-State Joint Board on Universal Service, the Federal- State Joint Board on Jurisdictional Separations, and the Federal-State Joint Conference on Advanced Services, and Commissioner Copps is a member of these three bodies. On Wednesday, the Commissioners will be attending a day-long workshop with state officials to discuss reforming the Universal Service Fund in order to make the benefits of broadband available to every American. Chairman Genachowski and Congressman Terry will be participating in a consumer discussion and public forum following the workshop. All events are open and free to the public.
