petition requesting waiver of the filing deadline for certain universal service high cost filings.
I am enclosing a copy ofan Order subsequently released by the Commission's Wireline
Competition Bureau on April 8,20 II, addressing Allied's petition. As explained in the Order,
while the Bureau determined that Allied did not demonstrate good cause for waiver of the
Commission's filing deadline, it also concluded that Allied met all ofthe rcquirements to begin
receiving high cost universal service support as ofOctober 14, 20 IO. This is the releasc date of
the Georgia PSC Orders designating Allied as an eligible telecommunications carrier in the state.
