I am writing to support the nomination ofRepresentative Margo 1. Davidson to serve on the Advisory
Committee on Diversity for Communications in the Digital Age I am confident Representative
Davidson's experience in the media and telecommunications industries makes her an excellent choice to
serve in this position.
Representative Davidson's extensive media expertise has anchored her focus on certain worthwhile
community projects. Her media career has included work at WTXF-TV 29, WDAS AM & FM radio and
WHYY-TV 12 in Philadelphia. She served as associate producer at WHYY-12 after seven years at
WDAS radio where she was a political reporter, associate producer for public affairs programs, assistant
to the New Director and on-air personality. Her extensive media experience led to the start ofher first
consulting business, lI.L. Media Enterprises in 1987.
Currently, Representative Davidson represents the 164· district in the Pennsylvania State House of
Representatives. She is using media, mostly Facebook, email,herwebsite and public forums, to
highlight the start ofan economic development plan in her district Specifically, constituents are being
informed ofa little known and unpublicized property tax rebate, as well as a public safety forum
designed to address consumer issues.
With her background in non-profit executive management and the media, Representative Davidson is
well qualified to serve on the newly re-chartered Advisory Committee on Diversity for Communications
in the Digital Age.
