• The subcommittee recognizes there are number of interdependent steps that 
must occur in order to transition to NG9?1?1. However, exact dates and timelines 
are difficult to predict given the number of technical, operational and economic 
variables among multiple entities including industry, public safety, policymakers 
and consumers.
• The subcommittee is waiting for publication of the Transportation Safety 
Advancement Group, NG9?1?1 Office “Survey of NG9?1?1 Deployments “
• The subcommittee needs to a final review of the existing recommendations.
• The subcommittee needs to formulate and agree upon any new 
recommendations.
