Thank you for your letter urging that the Commission consider options that will allow
LightSquared to offer its planned wireless broadband service, including authorizing use of
alternative spectrum for this service. Your letter will be included in the record of the related
proceedings and considered as part of the Commission's review.
LightSquared recently submitted various filings proposing alternatives to its existing
authorizations in the L-band. Commission staff is reviewing these filings and the complex
teclmical issues associated with LightSquared' s proposals.
