I am very pleased that the Commission has created the Broadband Adoption Lifeline Pilot Program, which will test different options for bringing affordable high-speed internet access to low- income Americans. Brooklyn’s Xchange Telecom Corp. is an Eligible Telecommunications Carrier and the second largest wireline provider in New York. Xchange has partnered with the City University of New York, Baruch College School of Public Affairs, and Older Adults Technology Services, Inc. (OATS), in order to put together a proposed program that would run in the Brooklyn neighborhoods of Williamsburg, Kensington, Parkville, Borough Park, and Midwood. I am certain that you will review Xchange Telecom Corp’s application thoroughly, and grant the funding if they are eligible. Please feel free to contact my Brooklyn Director, Maya Kremen, at (718) 373-3198 with any questions. Sincerely, ? JERROLD NADLER Member of Congress 0936
