We believe increasing the amount of spectrum allocated to wireless broadband services advances an important national goal and is critical to suppOlting competition and quality of service on our nation's wireless networks. We do want to ensure, however, that television broadcasters who do not wish to participate in the auctions are fairly treated, Additional spectrum provided under the auctions will not only benefit the companies and individuals that provide and use mobile broadband services, but it will also fuel technological innovation and increase our global competitiveness. In addition, the incentive auctions will generate revenue for much needed deficit reduction. We expect the FCC to act expeditiously in moving to spectrum auctions. Without causing any delay to that process, we urge you to consider the needs of broadcasters that choose not to plllticipate in the auctions and their viewers. We encourage a transparent and inclusive process. Thank you in advance for your consideration. Respectfully, Alll'on Schoc Member of Congress !~uif:1'1 Member of Congress pFl.I"nl:10 ON RECYCLED PAPER
