Thank you for your December 13, 2012 letter in support of a proposal by ProForma
HealthCare Solutions (ProForma) for a public-private partnership for rural health care
telecommunications.
On April 12,2012, the Commission received ProForma's comments filed in response to a
request for comments concerning the reform of the Commission's rural health care program.
ProForma's comments provide details regarding its new proposal for a "Rural Trust."
On December 21, 2012, the Commission launched the new Healthcare Connect Fund to
expand health care provider access to broadband and foster state and regional broadband health
care networks. The text of the Order adopting the Healthcare Connect Fund may be found on the
Commission's web site, at http://hraunfoss.fcc.gov/edocs public/attachmatch/FCC-12-
150A I.doc. ProForma should review the Order to determine how the Healthcare Connect Fund
may benefit the rural health care communities it serves.
