Mignon L. Clyburn Acting Chairwoman Federal Communications Commission 445 12th Street SW Washington, D.C. 20554 Dear Acting Chairwoman Clyburn: I am concerned about the ongoing retransmission content dispute between CBS and Time Warner Cable (TWC), and I respectfully ask you to review this issue and encourage a quick resolution. While I cannot speak to the merit of the arguments on either side of negotiations between two private parties, my concern is for consumers in areas I represent such as the counties of Chenango, Cortland, Madison and Oneida who are being negatively impacted by this ongoing dispute. As you know, on August 2, 2013, CBS withdrew its consent for TWC to retransmit over-the-air signals ofCBS owned and operated broadcast stations. As a result, TWC customers are experiencing blackouts when attempting to access CBS content through video and broadband Internet. I appreciate your consideration to look into this matter. It is my hope that both parties involved will continue to act in good faith on behalfof their subscribers and viewers. Residents in New York's 22nd Congressional District who are served by TWC are ready to regain access to such programming, and it is my hope that they will have a positive outcome. Thank you for your assistance in this matter. Richard L. Hanna U.S. Representative
