IN THE EVENT OF A GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWN, 
OCTOBER 1 CYBERSECURITY NEXT GENERATION TECHNOLOGY FORUM 
WILL BE POSTPONED 
Washington, D.C. –In the event of a government shutdown, the FCC’s Consumer and 
Governmental Affairs Bureau will postpone the “Cybersecurity Forum: Safeguarding Children 
and Families on the Internet,” and related technology demonstrations scheduled to be held on 
October 1.  The forum and technology demonstrations, which recognize Cybersecurity 
Awareness Month, will be rescheduled at a later date.
