The applications listed below have been found, upon initial review, to be acceptable for filing.  The Commission reserves
the right to return any of the applications if, upon further examination, it is determined the application is not in
conformance with the Commission's rules or its policies.  Consideration of each satellite application in this Public Notice
may depend on the Commission's action on another satellite application earlier in the queue.  Petitions, oppositions and
other pleadings filed in response to this notice should conform to Section 25.154 of the Commission's rules, unless
otherwise noted.  47 C.F.R. § 25.154.

EchoStar Satellite Operating Corporation
EchoStar Satellite Operating Corporation seeks to modify its authorization for its Direct Broadcast Satellite space station, EchoStar 12, at the
61.35° W.L. orbital location by extending the ten-year license term for an additional eight years, through July 31, 2022.  EchoStar is currently
authorized to provide DBS via EchoStar 12 at 61.35° W.L. in the  12.2-12.7 GHz (space-to-Earth) and 17.3-17.8 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency
bands.  EchoStar also requests a waiver of Sections 25.114(d)(14)(ii) and 25.283(c) of the Commission's rules.
