FCC RECOGNIZES NATIONAL CONSUMER PROTECTION WEEK 
WITH CONSUMER INFORMATION EXPO 
Washington, D.C. – In recognition of National Consumer Protection Week, the FCC’s Consumer and 
Governmental Affairs Bureau will host a Consumer Information Expo on Wednesday, March 12, 2014. 
The Expo will include exhibits, tips on avoiding fraud and identity theft on-line and over the phone, and 
other information.

An agenda including a list of exhibitors will be released at a later date.
The event is free and open to the public. The closest Metro stops to the FCC’s headquarters are 
Smithsonian and L’Enfant Plaza. Public parking is adjacent to the main entrance of the FCC on 12

SW. Please bring valid government-issued identification to present to security at the building entrance.
