KIDDOO JOINS FCC WIRELESS TELECOMMUNICATIONS BUREAU AS DEPUTY BUREAU CHIEF Washington, D.C. - The Federal Communications Commission’s Wireless Telecommunications Bureau announced that Jean L. Kiddoo has joined as Deputy Bureau Chief. Ms. Kiddoo previously served as a partner in Bingham McCutchen LLP’s Telecommunications, Media and Technology practice in Washington, D.C. “Jean’s diverse experience will greatly enhance the Bureau, and I look forward to calling upon her expertise on many of the exciting and complex matters that are before us,” said Roger Sherman, Chief of the Wireless Telecommunications Bureau. “Implementing upcoming spectrum auctions and improving our technology, systems, and internal processes are top priorities that demand creative and practical solutions. Jean’s industry knowledge and background will be great assets as we move forward on these projects.” For more than 30 years, Ms. Kiddoo has represented telecommunications, media and technology companies before federal agencies, courts and state regulatory commissions throughout the 50 states and the District of Columbia, as well as before local municipal and county governments. She has represented clients in a wide range of regulatory, litigation, transactional, restructuring, national security and land use matters. Ms. Kiddoo is a longtime member of the Federal Communications Bar Association and served as its President from 1999 to 2000.
