She will lead a number of long -term planning initiatives and will serve as a liaison with federal agencies and stakeholders. In addition, the FCC announced that Sagar Doshi will be leaving the Office of the Chairman. “Louisa has a breadth of experience that will be invaluable as we move forward with our agenda, including prior positions in the Administration, technology companies, and on Capitol Hill. Louisa is a welcome addition to our staff and brings a wealth of talent and expertise to the team,” said Chairman Tom Wheeler. Ms. Terrell was most recently U.S. Senator Cory Booker’s Chief of Staff. Previously, she served as Facebook’s Director of Policy, focusing on wide range of issues including privacy and online safety, and at Yahoo! Ms. Terrell served in the White House as Special Assistant to the President for Legislative Affairs from 2009 to 2011. Ms. Terrell was counsel for Senator Joseph R. Biden, Jr. on the Senate Judiciary Committee staff, and from 2006 to 2008 was the Senator’s Deputy Chief of Staff. Raised in Wilmington, Del ., Ms. Terrell earned her bachelor’s degree at Tufts University and her law degree at Boston College Law S chool, and served as a law clerk to the Honorable Francis J. Boyle, U.S. District Court for the District of Rhode Island.
