She also announced the promotion of Priscilla Delgado Argeris to the position of Senior Legal Advisor and the promotion of Valery Galasso to Policy Advisor. In addition, she announced that Travis Litman has joined her office as Legal Advisor and Jennifer Thompson has joined her office as Special Advisor and Confidential Assistant. Mr. Goldman, who has served as Senior Legal Advisor for Commissioner Rosenworcel with responsibility for wireless issues, has been appointed Chief Counsel for communications policy for Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (D-NJ), who serves as Ranking Member of the United States House of Representatives Committee on Energy and Commerce. Mr. Odom, who has served as Policy Director for Commissioner Rosenworcel with responsibility for media issues, has been appointed General Counsel of the United States Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation under the leadership of Ranking Member Senator Bill Nelson (D-FL). Commissioner Rosenworcel said: “David and Clint have been trusted advisors and good friends. They are both terrific public servants. David has a deep background in communications law and is without equal in his command of wireless policy. He is full of innovative ideas and uncommonly good at developing creative ways forward. Congressman Pallone and his colleagues are extraordinarily lucky to have his advice and good counsel. Clint is the consummate diplomat. He has a mix of impeccable judgment, substantive smarts, and savvy that Senator Nelson and his colleagues will benefit from in spades. While their departure is a loss to my office, I am proud that they both are continuing in public service in new capacities on Capitol Hill.” Priscilla Delgado Argeris will now serve as Senior Legal Advisor for wireless, international, and public safety issues. Prior to this role, Ms. Argeris had primary responsibility for wireline, broadband and universal service issues for the office of Commissioner Rosenworcel. She joined Commissioner Rosenworcel’s office from the law firm Wiley Rein, where she focused regulatory and litigation matters involving federal and state communications law. She is a member of the Hispanic National Bar Association and the Federal Communications Bar Association. Prior to law school, Ms. Argeris worked as a legal assistant at PG&E National Energy Group. Ms. Argeris received her undergraduate degree from Princeton University. She received her law degree from New York University School of Law, where she served as Articles Editor of the Journal of International Law and Politics. Valery Galasso has been named Policy Advisor for media issues. Ms. Galasso previously served as Special Advisor and Confidential Assistant to Commissioner Rosenworcel with primary responsibility for consumer and intergovernmental affairs issues as well as advocacy issues surrounding STEM (science, technology, math, and engineering) education. She joined Commissioner Rosenworcel’s office from the Office of the Vice President, Joseph R. Biden, Jr., where she served as Special Assistant for Legislative Affairs. As Special Assistant, she served as the liaison between the Vice President’s Office and the United States Congress. Prior to serving in the Obama Administration, Ms. Galasso was a Graduate Fellow at the Department of Commerce’s National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA). While there, she was a liaison to congressional offices on matters related to the Broadband Technology Opportunities Program (BTOP). She is a graduate of the University of Connecticut and received a Master of Arts in Public Policy from the Johns Hopkins University. Lastly, Commissioner Rosenworcel announced the appointment of Travis Litman as Legal Advisor and Jennifer Thompson as Special Advisor and Confidential Assistant. “I am delighted that both of these accomplished individuals are joining my office,” said Commissioner Rosenworcel. “Their strong backgrounds in communications policy and mix of experience in the public sector and private sector will mean good counsel for my office and exceptional support for the important work we do at the Commission.” Travis Litman will serve as Legal Advisor with responsibility for wireline and consumer issues. Previously, Mr. Litman served on detail as Counsel to the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation, where he provided assistance to the Subcommittee on Communications, Technology and the Internet. Prior to serving on Capitol Hill, Mr. Litman held a variety of roles in the FCC’s Wireline Competition Bureau, including Assistant Chief of the Telecommunications Access Policy Division, Legal Advisor to the Office of the Bureau Chief, and Attorney Advisor in the Pricing Policy Division. Before joining the FCC, Mr. Litman practiced communications law at Wilkinson Barker Knauer, LLP and Davis Wright Tremaine, LLP. He is a graduate of Lewis & Clark College and the University of Colorado School of Law. Jennifer Thompson will serve as Special Advisor and Confidential Assistant to Commissioner Jessica Rosenworcel. She will also assist with consumer and intergovernmental affairs matters. She joins Commissioner Rosenworcel's office from the United States Senate, where she served as Press Assistant for Senator Mark Pryor of Arkansas. In this role, she was responsible for crafting press releases, creating social media content, and overseeing media events for the office, including the Senator's work on the Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation and his chairmanship of the Subcommittee on Communications, Technology, and the Internet. Originally from Little Rock, Arkansas, Ms. Thompson received her Bachelor's Degree in Social Studies from Harvard University.
