Local exchange carrier GVTC seeks resolution on a petition the company filed with the

FCC on March 6, 2014 in Docket No. 10-90. The petition seeks a waiver on a rule that relates to 
recovery of inter-carrier compensation revenue that is being phased down. 
In September 2014, GVTC conducted an ex parte meeting with the Wireline Competition 
Bureau and demonstrated that the company meets all of the conditions set forth by the FCC when 
the agency granted similar waivers to other providers in August 2014. Bureau staff indicated 
that they had all of the information they needed to act on the petition. 
From here, the trail runs cold. 
As the one-year mark for petition consideration fast approaches, I ask that you please 
direct your team to give GVTC a resolution date.
