The first webinar - titled “Get into the Act…Online” - will be held Thursday, May 28, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. (EDT). Upcoming webinars will address digital literacy, broadband adoption and other issues affecting older Americans. In tackling these important topics, the FCC will be joined by representatives from webinar co-hosts: the Department of Education, Department of Housing and Urban Development, National Telecommunications and Information Administration, the Institute of Museum and Library Services and EveryoneOn. A final agenda including confirmed presenters will be released later. The webinar is free and open to the public. Closed captioning will be provided. The webinar will be recorded for future viewing on the web. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged, but not required. To register: 1.
