Short Term Public Notice Under Rule 51.333(a) (l'uhlie Notice). Durnont also submits the

This Public Notice advises of the following Network Change and improvement by Dumont Telephone
Company (Dumont) and the scheduled implementation date.

Planned Implementation Date: On or after October 5, 2015
Description of the Planned Network Change: Dumont is planning to remove the local switch from
the Allison exchange and accomplish local switching using the Dumont, JA swi1ch
Description of Foreseeable Impact of the Planned Change: The transport mileage from the
proposed switch at Dumont to the Mason City POP will be ldss miles than the current mdeage from the
Allison switch to the Cedar Rapids POP for the purpose of calculating access transport charges. Due to
the network design of Durnont's interexchange connectivity using the Iowa Network Services (INS)
tandem nd associated network, no carrier will be required to modify connectivity or the POP to which
it currently connects to deliver traffic to Dumont. No interconnected mmcc will be affected by this
change.
