FEDERAL COMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION WASHINGTON OFFICE OF THE CHAIRMAN November 2,2015 The Honorable Michael G. Fitzpatrick U.S. House of Representatives 2400 Rayburn House Office Building Washington, D.C. 20515 Dear Congressman Fitzpatrick: Thank you for your letter concerning the Bucks County Department of Emergency Communications, which is currently in the process of constructing a 22-site simulcast paging system in conjunction with the implementation of a new countywide 700 MHz trunked radio network. In your letter you request that related Special Temporary Authorizations (STAs) filed by Bucks County receive full and fair consideration. Your views are very important, and I share and appreciate your commitment to public safety. Bucks County filed for four STAs to enable it to operate existing and new paging sites on 155.055 MHz as part of or complementary to its 700 MHz project. We understand from the applicant that the permanent applications are in progress but have not been submitted to the FCC. On October 19,2015, all four STAs were granted with an expiration date of April 16, 2016, under the call signs WQWP451, WQWP452, WQWP454 and WQWP455. I appreciate your interest in this matter. Please let me know if! can be of any further assistance. _ smcerelyf/tf- iitheeler
