The first ten sites are currently scheduled to be activated on October 131h, 2015. However, it has recently come to the attention of the Department of Emergency Communications managing the project that the application to use the ten sites designated for initial activation has not been submitted to the Federal Communications Commission for licensing. I understand that the County of Bucks has been communicating with the FCC their willingness to correct the issue, as well as their desire to receive a Special Temporary Authorization so that the initial ten sites may be activated on the planned date of October 131h, 2015. In the interest of public safety I respectfully request the County of Bucks receive full and fair consideration for a Special Temporary Authorization. I thank you for your cooperation and understanding with this matter. Sincerely, Mike Fitzpatrick Member of Congress PRINTED ON RECYCLED PAPER 1013 PSHSB- Public Safety Emergency Comm.
