STATEMENT OF COMMISSIONER AJIT PAI
On Passage of Kari’s Law By Congressional Committees
WASHINGTON, April 28, 2016.—I want to commend the U.S. Senate Committee on 
Commerce, Science, and Transportation and the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Energy and 
Commerce for passing Kari’s Law. This legislation seeks to ensure that every call to 911 directly 
connects those in need with emergency personnel who can help.  I hope that the full membership of each 
House of Congress passes this public safety measure and that it soon becomes law.
