As you know, AT&T accepted CAF II to expand I 0 Mbps / I Mbps broadband to rural residents across Georgia, including residents of my district. The FCC listed Jenkins County as eligible for CAF II funds. I have heard from community leaders in Jenkins County of their great need for expanded broadband services. Having visited the county on numerous occasions and working with its leaders, I wholeheartedly agree that 10 Mbps / 1 Mbps broadband capabilities will be a boon for the county and its residents. I would greatly appreciate if you can share information with me regarding the amount of funding that will be available to Jenkins County, what kind of broadband buildout they can expect, and the time line of expanding broadband service. I hope the FCC has policies in place that ensures AT&T and other price cap carriers are able to expand broadband swiftly and efficiently without cumbersome and duplicative regulations. Thank you for your timely response to my inquiry. Sincerely, 12:J:.w. &t--= Rick W. Allen Member of Congress PRINTED ON RECYCLED PAPER 269
