120 The Honorable Ajit Pai Chairman Federal Communications Commission 445 12th Street, SW Washington, DC 20554 Dear Chairman Pai: February 15,2017 It has come to my attention that Marty Yudkovitz, a Member of Cincinnati Bell's Board of Directors, has been nominated to serve on the Federal Communications Commission's (FCC) Broadband Deployment Advisory Committee. I am writing to express my support for his nomination and request that it be given every possible consideration. If granted a position on the Committee, Mr. Yudkovitz would bring his unique and extensive background and expertise in media, digital content distribution, transformational changes in disruptive environments, and corporate innovation to the table. Mr. Yudkovitz' s experience in digital media is extraordinary- before joining Cincinnati Bell, Mr. Yudkovitz ran The Walt Disney Company's Strategic Innovation Group. Earlier in his career, while at NBC, he played an integral part in the creation ofNBC's cable and digital innovation including the formation of CNBC, NBC's first cable television network, CNBC.com, NBC Digital Media and its pioneering relations with Microsoft that became MSNBC and MSNBC.com. In between his work at NBC and Disney, Mr. Yudkovitz was the President ofTiVo. I believe his experience in the media and digital content industry will offer a unique perspective toward addressing the digital divide and will help successfully achieve the mission of the Advisory Committee. Thank you for considering his nomination. Robert E. Latta Member of Congress
