STATEMENT OF COMMISSIONER MICHAEL O’RIELLY 
ON AIRWAVES ACT
WASHINGTON, August 1, 2017. — I applaud Senators Gardner and Hassan for 
introducing critical spectrum legislation and for their leadership on such an important 
issue. There is a lot to like in the bill, including firm spectrum deadlines and auctions for 
key bands. I look forward to working with them and others in Congress as the bill moves 
forward.
