Its mission is to recommend to the Commission ways to modernize administration of the North American Numbering Plan in order to ensure the efficient, impartial assignment and use of vital numbering resources in the changing, modern world of communications. Chairman Pai has named the Honorable Travis Kavulla, Commissioner, Montana Public Service Commission, to serve as Chair of the NANC, and Diane Holland, Vice President, Law and Policy for USTelecom, to serve as Vice Chair.
