SAT-AMD-20180104-00004 E S2994 WorldVu Satellites Limited Date Filed: 01/04/2018 16:29:12:46600 Amendment WorldVu Satellites Limited (d/b/a OneWeb) has filed an amendment to its petition for U.S. market access for its proposed non-geostationary, fixed-satellite service system in the 37.5-43.5 GHz, 47.2-50.2 GHz, and 50.4-51.4 GHz bands. In the amendment, OneWeb further seeks U.S. market access in the 10.7-12.7 GHz, 12.75-13.25 GHz, 13.75-14.5 GHz, 15.43-15.63 GHz, 17.8-18.6 GHz, 18.8-20.2 GHz, 27.5-30 GHz, 71-76 GHz, and 81-86 GHz bands. OneWeb also asks to increase from 1,280 to 2,560 the number of satellites that would operate at a nominal altitude of 8,500 km. OneWeb requests waiver of 47 CFR §§ 2.106, 25.112(a)(3), 25.116(c), 25.137(d)(5), 25.155(b), 25.157(c), 25.159(b), and of the Commission's band plans to the extent necessary.
