CHAIRMAN PAI STATEMENT ON FCC VICTORY IN 
UHF DISCOUNT CASE

WASHINGTON, July 25, 2018—Federal Communications Commission Chairman Ajit Pai issued the following statement regarding today’s ruling by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit, which dismissed a challenge to the reinstatement of the UHF discount:

“I’m pleased with the court’s decision to reject this challenge to the reinstatement of the UHF discount pending the completion of our comprehensive review of the national ownership cap.”
