While OTMR could streamline the process of moving lines and providing more high-speed broadband services, it must not be done at the expense of established labor contracts. Career lineworkers are highly trained and experienced, and help guarantee that the job is done efficiently with limited customer outages. Any proposal must honor these agreements to ensure worker safety, quality service, and promote good paying jobs.
